[Bauhaus stage Dessau, conceived and directed by Oskar Schlemmer. On 16 March 1927, addressing an audience of the 'Circle of the Friends of the Bauhaus', and following Oskar Schlemmer's related lecture, the Bauhaus stage performs its Demonstration of systematical Exploration of the formal Elements for stage production, a program of different scenes dealing with dance, staging and the figure in space [cf. 209, 219]

Scheper: "Another performance ... deals with the exploration of the relation of the human figure to space. Centre point, axels, diagonals and circle are drawn on the square area of the stage floor to illustrate the "bottom geometry" (Bodengeometrie) of the stage's expanse. The height of the stage area is demonstrated by diagonally tensioned ropes which are crossing the cube and fixing its center point. ...* [209, p. 141-142]

T. Lux Feininger zum 100. Geburtstag. 2010 Berlin Pressetext Bauhaus-Archiv Berlin: T. Lux Feininger gehört zu den einflussreichsten Fotografen am Bauhaus. Der jüngste Sohn des Bauhaus-Meisters Lyonel Feininger dokumentierte seit 1926 die Arbeit der Bühnenklasse und gestaltete mit seinen bewussten fotografischen Inszenierungen die mediale Wirkung des Bauhauses mit. Den Umgang mit der Kamera brachte er sich selbst bei. Als einer der letzten Zeitzeugen des Bauhauses begeht T. Lux Feininger am 11. Juni 2010 seinen 100. Geburtstag. Zu diesem runden Jubiläum würdigt das Bauhaus-Archiv Berlin den Bauhäusler innerhalb der Ständigen Sammlung mit einer kleinen Hommage aus 17 Fotografien, die vom 9. Juni bis 8. November 2010 zu sehen sind.
