[With 6 other photographs, this print was returned by Andreas Feininger with cover letter dated January 14, 1981: "Dear Lux, ... with your old Bauhaus photos having a considerable monetary value, I want you to have them back ...". T. Lux Feininger identifies all prints and notes on the letter for the 1st print, et al: "Liesel H. w/ forgot his name in café... These [prints] were consigned to Prakapas gallery March 16, 1981"]
