  • Text of the postcard from Julia Feininger to Georg and El Muche, postmarked August 18, 1927: "Dear Muche's, Please don't be angry that I kept silent for so long in response to your dear card. There was so much that kept [me] away. I will write in length with many pictures. Today I have only this inadequate card at hand, but at least you should finally receive our love and greetings. Since eight days I am also in Deep. Leo, Lux with Julie Feininger"*
