  • The conveyance is the metal bird that has been part of Bak’s visual vocabulary. A symbol of flight and survival and hope. The enclosure protects the contraption and its contents. Floating in the background is the ladder as possible reference to Jacob's Dream and the ladder that connects heaven and earth.

The ironic twist of a gift ribbon adds an element of contrast and almost whimsy.
The passengers have been gifted life.
