Various states of being for each of us with the cup as the metaphor. Full, Empty, and Yet.
The recognition that our roles and responsibilities continually change and we must somehow be alert and prepared for all exigencies.
There is beauty to the complex and enigmatic scene. What is filling the cup? The errant spoon and the cloud transformed into a dripping liquid. All fabrications of the artist's genius.
The fractured Cup adjacent is unable to retain any liquid hence empty yet very present.
The cut-off tree root presents a sense of the passage of time. It anchors the entire scene.
The standing water with the perfect circle is caused by the drop of intense liquid.
And yet.....is up to us to engage and remember and renew.
