  • An exchange is taking place.
What is being given and taken?

Both figures are constructed of childrens' building blocks or dice.
They are made up of chance.
    Winged figures of chance.
    The disk for the ball.
The circle from the dice for a cannon ball.
The stripes of the prisoner's garb are on one of the figures.

They both exist and yet do not.
A give and take of reality or the suspension of belief.
