  • How much can one take? What is a limit? Two broken figures ponder, together, in a forest. What is more than the infinite? In mathematical philosophy, the potential infinite continues without terminating—when you think there cannot possibly be more, there is more.

Trees, branches, and leaves, surround the two figures. Wooden frames hold it together. In the center of the image the symbol representing the concept of infinity; or perhaps the number eight, the number of destruction. Do the strings, vines, ropes, symbolize a snake eating its own tail?

If the potential infinite has no end point, how can we ensure that what repeats in our world is kindness, decency and humanity, and not the cruelty, impropriety, and indifference that continues, both at home and abroad, again and again and again?
