On the Inadmissable

On the Inadmissable
  • 2018
  • Oil on canvas
  • 16 × 20 18 inches(40 12 × 51 cm)

  • Signed and dated lower left: BAK 18

  • Disputants in the foreground and in the background.
The rabbinic types in the past and the constructed figures in the foreground.
One atop the table or altar and the other made up of stone blocks.

    What is Inadmissible?
The terrain of destruction, the canvas with a hint of the tallit or the prisoner's garb, as well the rippled block of canvas with hints of a forest or triumph rider.

The composition of this work is stunning. Texture and color makes it a very rich painting.

    Bernard H. Pucker, BAK a Day, December 9, 2021

  • Themes:  Figure Symbol/Letter Flag
