  • Bak reminds us constantly that we live in a world of contradictions. As if we believed that life is forever. That kindness is the fundamental basis of all human endeavors. That we are in control of our lives.

Remaining alert before the Bak visual conundrums is one of the challenges of A Bak a Day.

What is Temporary is probably not Permanent. Figures in motion racing through a forest of cut off trees. A pair of shoes as a reminder that one does not survive without them.

The tree of life for all who cleave unto it. These trees are no longer alive. They are a set design for the temporary awareness of our impermanence.
