This scene on the Bauhaus stage Dessau depicts one of various performances playing with masks in 1928/29 [cf. 209, p. 268]. The performers on the left and on the right could not be identified, the mask on the right by T. Lux Feininger.]
Scheper: "The mask in its manifold variations of shape, color and material is subject of studies during the lessons of the stage-class and plays an important role at experimental peformances on the Bauhaus stage..."* [209, p. 268]
