School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University
Provenance: 1986 December, sold for the benefit of the Scholarship Fund from the Christmas Show of the Museum School to the Medici Society, Boston, MA
TLF: "[In the late 1960s there] were student strikes and protests just about against everything. – The new rules ... catering to student opinion in preference to the authority of faculty, [were soon controlled by the] Student-Faculty. ... I have tried to catch the flavor of these heady times in a painting made long after I had quit teaching. For its composition I used a painted transcript of some of the more idiotic resolutions made by “my” committee (The Self-Study Com.) ... Commemorative Page was bought by the Boston Medici Society and hangs in their meeting room." [105]
