TLF: "John and Michael van Beuren having dropped in at 105 E. 24th St. [...] Michael and I had seen much of each other in the last year I was in Berlin; soon after I came to New York he disappeared into Mexico, but bequeathed me his younger brother. John became the recipient of a series of [my] pen drawings on postal cards the socalled Goat cards." [203]
