  • TLF: "The Wohlfahrt [Welfare] of Barth, a handsome gallesass, freshly painted and tarred at Waltershof on the Elbe. She carries a flying yard on the fore from which a square foresail is set when running oldtimer [7]. A tjalk in full rig carrying the characteristic raffe set flying between two light yards as well as an extra sail, a kind of studding sail seldom seen nowadays [8]." [The Rudder, October 1948]
