TLF 1947: "After completing the first term [at the Bauhaus 1927], the preliminary Vorkurs, I was admitted to the stage workshop, I was the happiest of students. ... I was particularly enarmored of making masks ... executing several collectively formulated ideas ... The technique of paper maché was developed to a high degree of perfection." [204]
